Im September 12 too, every article and interview with wedding planners has said to keep planning as you are now. Im praying that they get this thing under control by May.
I wonder if wedding insurance will include pandemics after all this is done.
Yeah, my venue is set for October, but I was thinking that the postpone/cancel question is more complicated than "Can we gather that many people together legally by then?" With stores closed, dress fittings and tastings are now postponed. As mentioned, loved ones might get furloughed or fired and not be able to afford to travel so soon. How soon do we know it is 'safe' to order or mail the invites? I have even seen people worrying about a bunch of local vendors not being able to make it so long without cash flow and shutting down their businesses. With all these unknowns in a basically unprecedented situation, and with my wedding just at the start of being planned, I really am worrying that losing these normally crucial months in between is going to make it impossible to have the wedding we wanted this October if the situation doesn't begin to look more certain soon.
Just wondering, for those who haven’t sent out their invites, when are y’all planning sending them out ?? I originally planned to send mine by the end of this month but I’m not sure anymore! Thank you !
My wedding is September 18 and my fiance and I have only really mentioned postponing once. I keep reminding myself that we still have some time, and things are changing daily. The only thing so far that may be affected is my bridal shower, which may be cancelled all together.

My wedding is in June and I haven’t rescheduled. My venue told me they are currently rescheduling March and April weddings. We are just monitoring to see how things start to unfold. I work for Miami Dade County Public Schools as a teacher and we are scheduled to return to work on April 15th for now. So, i’m sure if we follow the quarantine correctly things will work out by that time. Take things day by day, hun. I’m sure things will blow over soon! Especially before your wedding date! I’m 95% sure your wedding will continue as planned. No worries.
Our wedding is June 27 and I told my FH that I'll start showing concern when we're closer to 30 days out instead of 97 days out. Right now our contingency plan is to STILL get married on that date if we have to do it in his parents backyard with just my best friend & her hubs as our witnesses. His parents. The photographer and the officiant. That makes it less than 10 people.
Nope mines September 4 which also happens to be my birthday and what greatest present it is than to get married on it?! 😂😬 Im hoping it will be all over soon hopefully before May my son birthday is in June and i done bought all his birthday supplies😑
Our's is in June and we wont know till we have to change dates mid April So we are thinking of changing date's already to be safe and we were thinking September 5th. I think you'll be okay!
