Can my ex husband walk me down the aisle?

His name was Bernard. We were married for six and a half years and very much in love. We decided (mutually) to split because after his 3rd heart attack and his quadruple bypass, he could no longer satisfy me sexually. We tried introducing a surrogate sex partner into our relationship, but it made Bernard sad to watch me have sex with a strapping, young man. I did my best to maintain eye contact with my husband and even shout out his name, but the tears still rolled down his cheeks as he watched Chad and I make love.

Eventually, Bernard and I parted ways and he gave his blessing for me and the surrogate sex partner to get married. So my question is, would it be inappropriate for my ex husband to walk (or roll, since he's in a wheelchair) me down the aisle? I think it's almost poetic since my old lover is handing me off to my new one. Also, Bernard is like a father to me, since he's 40 years my senior.

What would you do?

Happy Friday ladies! Have fun!

But we have to ride the thin line of offending people without getting the post deleted (hidden). It's an art form really.

Hey! Plot twist. What if it's all a sham, and Chad and Bernard convinced you to walk Bernard down the aisle for their wedding?

Milwaukee_Bride...but for a 'strapping' groom, would that be the best outfit for him? Not sure...

And what's-her-name who may now be offended changed her name already. Interesting.

I, personally, think that any outfit which shows off your garter is perfect for a wedding. Who says your husband should be the ONLY one to see your keepsake garter. That makes no sense...

For Chad, our strapping young groom, I think he should probably wear something along the lines of this...it's formal yet would really showcase everything that Bernard is not..

Forget $50 admission, Bernard should be paying for the entire wedding. After all, it is his fault he went and had those stupid heart attacks and could no longer satisfy you. The least he could do, besides rolling you down the aisle, is to pay for your wedding to strapping young Chad.

Yeah, you definitely, DEFINITELY want to rub in Bernard's face "hey look at chad, he is what you are not!" Therefore, put Chad in the above, and probably put Bernard in something more like this:

Slightly off topic update: The person we "offended" is a troll. They have a post up right now about their MOH who is too fat and has too many tattoos.

Glad to provide some amusement...I cannot attest to the accuracy or inaccuracy of any pictures found on a google image search. Smiley laugh
