Can I see your wedding jewelry?

melanie, on May 17, 2017 at 10:26 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 42

I was wondering if I could see what people are wearing or have worn for jewelry on their wedding day? I'm looking for a necklace and earring set and I really don't even know where to begin. Where did you purchase your wedding jewelry? Thanks!

Mine was a gift from my bridal party for the shower. I wanted a classic (and timeless) pearl set, and that's what they got me! I wear them with anything and everything.

ETA: I didn't wear a bracelet, since I have really tiny wrists. My SIL (also a BM) offered me one of hers to wear as my something borrowed - it slipped off my hand as soon as I put it on, so I ended up wearing it as an anklet!

Our wedding is in the mountains and forests of NH/Maine, so our wedding "theme" is just that. Decided to go with this elegant necklace, just in silver (and no leaf initial) Smiley smile

The FH purchased the set as a gift. It matches the crystals on the dress. Not sure I am going to wear the whole set though. That might be too much.

Love that the jewelry fits your wedding Kelsey!

Amber that set is beautiful, I need to check Amazon out! I thought I would just find something at David's when I went to shop for BM dresses but had zero luck

Try Icings by Claire. Or Charming Charlie - I found some great pieces for my bridesmaids at both locations.

Mine is super simple. It's also my something blue, and matches the bridesmaid dresses. From Macy's I think

I don't have a picture but I'll be wearing my mom's 1ct. diamond earrings and debating on wearing her tennis bracelet. She passed away a few years ago and I have not touched the earrings because I wanted to save them for this special day.

I'm not big on necklaces, so I decided to just do big chandelier earrings. They're from JamJewels1 on Etsy. Jewelry is one those things that you can reuse after the wedding for special occasions, so I splurged a bit.

I snapped my necklace out to my bridesmaids the other day! It's my mom's and I've always loved it. It's fresh water pearls so I love that it's traditional but super unique at the same time! My dress is also light Champaign and ivory so it will match perfectly!

    These are all very beautiful!

Elizabeth I'm in the same boat and trying to find something of my moms to incorporate too, she didn't really have a lot of jewelry but I think I may have a piece of her clothing sewn into my dress so I have a piece of her with me

My dress is medieval-themed, so I got this set:

Instead of silver they'll be gold.

    ETA: Typo

I'm not wearing a necklace since I have bling on the neckline of my dress but these are my earrings

I am wearing rose gold hair accessories, shoes, and jewelry. I love my jewelry and want to wear it now (and will definitely wear it tons post wedding) but I am trying to keep it special for the big day! So hard since the simplicity of what I chose matches so well with my everyday style.

Here was mine. I loved it and I spent less than $20 from a small bridal boutique here in my town

Fell in love with this set. Not wearing a necklace due to the neckline of the dress.
