Can I do royal blue and sunflowers for a late November wedding?

sara, on February 2, 2013 at 9:38 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 9

I need some opinions...P and I had orginally planned to have an August wedding but have had to move it to Nov 30, 2013. In our original plans we were going to do a royal blue with sunflowers... would that still be ok to do in a November wedding?? Also the bridesmaids were going to wear tan colored summer dresses.. and suggestions on this either? I just don't want them to go out and have to buy an expensive dress that they will wear only once.

Royal blue linens, sunflowers, tan bridesmaids... what are the men wearing? Navy blue suits? Brown suits?

How is the weather near you in Nov? Is it warm enough to wear a summer dress? or will they need a bolero? or sweater?

You can do what ever colors you want, month/season doesn't matter.

What is MORE important, does the colors work with your ceremony space and your reception venue.

Many ladies come on here and freak out when their colors don't work with their location.

    Welcome to WW Sara!

    ~ congrats

Can you get jackets or shawls to match or complement the dresses? I think the tan color would be fine, but the dresses may not be warm enough.

Your colors sound great to me. As for summer dresses, there are a lot of inexpensive, wear again dress options and you have plenty of time to look.

Thanks ladies... i think that i will have to look into a shrug or shawl for the girls since end of Nov in WI can be cold as sin and snowy. Might have to look into longer dresses also...
