Can I cut the bouts for grandparents?

If your budget is limited spend the money on you and the girls. The bouquets are the most important things you have coming for flowers. Don't cut back on those. For everything else ask yourself this question: Do I NEED it or do I just want it? Just keep what you need.

Also, Jessa is right. A single rose or special flower done up nicely will save you a lot of money and still look beautiful.

I think buying the roses at the supermarket the morning of and getting some pretty stick pins is a perfect idea! You can get a dozen for $20 and then no one is left out.

I wouldn't cut them. FH and I decided that we'd much rather honor our grandparents alive than otherwise. We knew we would definitely light a candle in a grandparent's honor, so why not pay $9 for a boutonniere and $18 for a corsage.

I would say NO to this... check other locations: Price cCUtter, Walmart and places like this... I was in one walmart and they had corsages premade forsale for $4... Ive not seen that in any other wal-mart but it was kind of cool..

What about Fake flowers for them? You can make them for less than $2 each if you shop at the right places and then they get to keep them forever (you can even buy premade).. this is something that we are considering to save a little money

Personally, skipping on the grandparents is def a no-no. the previous posts all offer fantastic ideas, i highly recommend taking one of them You're lucky to have your grandparents. FS & I don't have ours

Cut out the grandparents? no way, they look forward to a grandchilds wedding more then a parent does....DIY or find some place cheaper....or cut something else that is kinda of not really needed...
