My husband and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary in a couple of years. We got married at a courthouse, so I never got the wedding I wanted. I want to have an intimate vow renewal for 50 people. My theme is going to be an elegant southern/cajun theme. I am searching for a unique venue preferably under $1000. I do not want the typical banquet hall. I really want the wow factor without breaking the bank. Please help!

What sort of venue are you looking for? There are so many unique venue types that I’m sure you will find something to fit your tastes perfectly! We had our local reception at Monte De Oro winery in Temecula. In 2017, their site fee was crazy reasonable (less than $1K) whereas a lot of the venues there had ridiculous site fees and $10K+ F&B minimums. Here's a pic:

Mission Inn in Riverside looks so cool but I don't know their costs:

White House in Anaheim may have the historic house feel you're looking for. Hopefully, they will charge less for a vow renewal but if not, ask about their off-season, brunch, and weekday rates--you could save 50% off site fees and there may even be a food discount.
