California-online wedding, already have paper license

Hello! My fiancé and I purchased a wedding license prior to the shelter-in-place in California. We’ve decided to get married online on before it expires.

Is there anyone in California that had this same experience — paper (physical) license and had an online ceremony? If so, what were the logistics?

Hi Shauna! Hopefully your officiant has a good suggestion! I'm assuming there needs to be some mailing involved or dropping off of the license to get signed by everyone!
