Our bakery told us about 6 months out.

As soon as you have a date I would start looking. I had one set, but she cancelled on me less than three months before and I spent three days on the phone with nearly 100 bakers until I found one that could do it

I reached out to vendors 9 months before the wedding and did my tasting/booked my baker 8 months out. My baker is always busy and booked far out so I wanted to reach out far ahead of time so I’d have her reserved!

Do you have a vision in mind for your cake?

We had ours 6 months out; getting married February 29th, had our baker in August, but did not do our tasting until earlier this month.

We booked our baker a few weeks ago, so about 9 months out!
