What are your thoughts on having just cake as the dessert for a wedding? Are we expected to have other desserts as well?

I originally wanted a dessert table and no cake. Then I considered cake and dessert. My FMIL and my mom both think a cake would suffice. We ended up going with a cake that feed all our guests in the end, pricing worked out to be much better doing this option.

We did cake and cupcakes. I've been to one where they had a candy bar set up with donuts too. Do what works for you!

Our plates dinner comes with a dessert and we have cake as well. I think just cake alone would be fine though Smiley smile

Honestly cake is enough technically but I've been spoiled to weddings where there was ALWATS more than just cake so...haha

For us we will be doing a dessert tables with a variety of cakes and desserts on top of our plated dinner desert.

No wedding cake for us though.
