Cake vs. Cup Cakes

I was kind of astonished at first, but then I realized that ours are $1 per mini-cupcake (you have to buy by the dozen), and we're getting them from a relatively cheap place in Vegas.

We're going to have not quite 4 per person... I'm wondering if we should just go ahead and add another dozen so that we do, though.

I am having both at my wedding since kids will be there and they don't eat a full slice of cake..and but now im thinking that you can do so much with it..like i love to bake so if u did too you couldd prob order a 2tiered cake then bake your own cupckaes and get a piping bag and start frosting...a great idea to have the bridal party get together and help out...and would cut on cost in the long run. but that also depends on ur guest count

We are doing the cupcake thing too. I have been to so many wedding where people had traditional cakes, and at the end of the night, they were trying to give cake away because they had so much left over!! We wont have that issue. Cupcakes it is.
