Cake smash in face - yes or no?

I'm curious on opinions about whether or not you ladies are planning to smash the cake in your hubby's face. I'm torn on this! Part of me wants to, the other part doesn't. I think it would be fun, but if I chose to I think it won't be super drastic. And what if my makeup is messed up?!

I personally think that the cake smash is rude and disrespectful. But I don't judge anyone who does it! Its just not for me...

Plus I can't imagine wasting any cake! Its my favorite dessert

At my cousin's wedding, the groom was so drunk he didn't realize what he was doing. He practically slapped her across the face with it (not very funny) and then promptly knocked a glass of champagne off the table and onto her dress.

I personally don't like it. FH mentioned at a cookout that he thought about doing and I didn't even have to say anything because about 6 women jumped on him to tell him how awful they think it is. But the best reaction was from my friend before her wedding: "He knows that if he smashes cake in my face I'll smash my fist into his nuts."

No. Although FH threatened to do it. As soon as I told FH how much makeup and hair costs, he said he will not do it lol

I would not care if we did it but fh has no sense of humor so it would be a no for us.

We haven't talked about it...I would be shocked if my FH didn't try though. Lol. We are fun people...I don't mind my makeup getting a little screwed up. Our focus for our wedding is to have fun and celebrate with the people closest to us.

They say the ones who smash cake in eachother face are more apt to get divorced!! I did it twice before knowing this, and now divorced twice!! People who are nice and just feed eachother nicely tend to stay together!! Respect I guess!! Good Luck!!! 👍

I made sure to stress to my FH that it is NOT something I want. I'm paying for my makeup to be done and I'm not interested in having that ruined or possibly even getting cake on my dress. I think it's cute if it fits your personality but I'm just not into it personally. I heard somewhere that it is also considered bad luck but I'm sure someone somewhere has said that about almost everything.
