Cake - How Much Per Slice?

I think I paid around 2.50 per slice

My cake is $5 a slice and her full size cupcakes are also $5 a piece but I am going to do cake and mini cupcakes so the mini cupcakes are only $2.50 each

$5/ slice of I go with a preferred baker. If I use an outside baker, it is the price of the cake from the baker +$3/slice serving fee at the venue. Check to see if your venue has any policies like that.

Our cupcakes (filled) are $1.25 each. We haven't decided on a cake yet.

I think mine is 3.25/ slice for the pretty cake and slightly less than that per slice for the supplementary sheet cakes.

We're deciding between two bakers. The more expensive of the two is $8-9/slice, which makes no sense because her cupcakes are 3-4 per cupcake. The one we'll more likely use is $2/slice, with decreasing rates if you order like 150 servings or more. My venue doesn't have a serving fee, but they do have a 100 flat fee for using outside catering.

$2.90/slice. It'll be $3.25/slice if we decide to go with the custard filling (which we most likely will cuz I love it haha).

Mine is $4/slice.

We are paying $4/per slice.

Our cupcakes are between $3-$4 depending on the flavor we use. $2.50 certainly sounds average.

Ours was roughly $6 a slice.

Mine is $4/serving no matter the flavor, filling or frosting. I can do every tier different if I want for no extra charge. The decoration doesn't change the cost at all either. Fondant is extra but fh didn't want it anyway so yay. Also delivery is complimentary and the cake stand is free to borrow as well. I don't remember their cupcake cost exactly because we went in knowing we wanted a regular cake but I think it was $3 each.

Our cupcakes are $2.50 each. Of we had gone with cake from our bakery, it was $4-6/slice, and if we had gone with a certain caterer they charged $1/slice to cut the cake. We went with a different caterer who has nothing to do with the cake side of it.

I never asked the cost per slice but if you want to see something that will make your jaw drop here we go. we are having 5 cakes at our wedding one will be three tiers and the rest just regular 6 inch but all different flavors. taking into consideration what we paid for the cakes for the bar and guessing what our 2 tier cake is costing (it was included with our venue) with some pretty big slices (so there is none left) and our guest list of 45 people it is about $14 a slice. LOL I know not all of it will be eaten.. we are going to have cake for days and days.

And as a fun fact, the Cake Boss' cakes are about $15-20 per slice. . . and I've heard it doesn't even taste that good!

I start my cakes at $4.00 a slice. ETA: this pricing is for fondant.

For the life of me I can not figure out how the bakery that my venue uses, prices out their cakes. If I would have paid for the cake I wanted I would have been charged $8.00 a slice and that's not considering what the venue already covers. In the end I chose to go with a sheet cake for serving and I'm making my own display cakes out of foam, with one real layer for cutting.

Here, 4:50-15.00 slice, but that takes into account decorating it....
