Cake for courthouse wedding?

We are going to get married at the courthouse with maybe 10 people attending and then probably go get food at a restaurant after. Should we worry about even having a small cake?

    Find out if the restaurant allows outside cake or if they have a specialty dessert. If they do allow it, pick up your favorite grocery store 10" cake.

    Definitely check with the restaurant- they might be able to provide some type of cake.

    It's up to you. Make sure the restaurant will allow it. My FH and I are opting out of cake.

    I manage a bakery, we make plenty of small courthouse wedding cakes for people to celebrate at restaurants or wherever. If you want it, go for it.

    Girl I am having a minimony of less than you but we are doing a cocktail hour to finish pics with our photographer and we got a two tier cake and we are cake cutting there. Sharing with our friends and our photographers. You get one day so do it. But yes call the place because some places do cake cutting but if you say you are doing it yourself they may not.

    If you want a cake, get one. You're still getting married and if you want a cake...then get yourself a cake.

    We only had 2 of us for our elopement, but I definitely wanted cake! However, we got a grocery store cake which was easy and delicious.

    If you're allowed to get a cake, I'd do it. It's still your wedding and if you want to do a cake cutting, you should. Your guests wouldn't complain about getting cake either!

    Cake is never the wrong choice, so if you want it and the restaurant will supply - or let you bring in - cake, and you want it, go for it.
