Cake Cutting Song?

I've never heard of a cake cutting song. If we had one it wasn't anything planned or special.

This is a thing? I love picking the music we'll have at our wedding but I had no clue they even played a song during the cake cutting!

We chose "Touch Me" by the Doors. We both are huge doors fan and love the song but it's not really a dance to song. This way we still got to hear it played.

We went with the lego movie theme song because that was our first movie together, we're obsessed with legos, and the most obvious reason (see pic). This is one of the few parts you can go with whatever song you'd like as it doesn't impact the guests in any negative manner.

We're going with Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley.... love that song! I love the Disney song too though...

@chivy, according to what translation?! Cake by the ocean is about sex on the beach.

I just saw a wedding where they did Kiss Me and it was really cute so we might do that.

We did cake by the ocean (the clean version) since our reception was under a tent on a dock on the ocean. It seemed very fitting!!!
