Buying my own liquor and wine for my wedding

I'm having about 200 guests and I'm wanting to buy liquor, red/white wines for them. The caterer is providing all the mixers and fruit so that's a plus. Where can I buy in bulk. If I can spend about $500 that would be awesome but I'm willing to spend up to $1,000 if I have to. Any suggestions?

    Total Wine & More is where we're going to buy our alcohol. I'm pretty sure they give bulk discounts and they also accept returns for anything unopened. There's a calculating sheet on their website that tells you how much they recommend buying based on your guest count.

    I would look at Costco and Trader jo for wine. also ask seller if they take back unopened bottles.

    I agree with pps on recommendations just wanted to mention in some states it’s illegal to return unopened alcohol so I would look into your states laws before purchasing!

    Our wedding is February 23rd, only 25 days away! We're going to purchase our alcohol as soon as we have a final headcount.

    Costco and Sam's both have a decent selection. I would also look in liquor/wine outlet stores in your area.

    We just purchased at Total Wine this week for 200 guests. We initially did a consultation to see what wines we wanted to do and the once we decided we literally just ordered it online and just came to the store to pick it up it was so easy. They do give you the 10% off if you get 6 or more bottles of wine and some stores will take back your unused alcohol.
