It really depends on where you are, we can’t make specific suggestions without knowing city and state. For me, the most affordable options were non-traditional venues like national parks, city parks with pavilions, etc.

Where have you been searching for venues? Did you check out the WeddingWire venue directory?

The directory is easy to search due to the filter options available. You can filter by venue type, or setting (indoor, outdoor), amenities (catering services, bar services, etc.), city, etc.

If you're wanting to keep it on an incredible budget, look into the Ed Lycan Conservatory in Will Rogers Gardens! It's pretty heavy DIY since they aren't really a "wedding venue," but very affordable and beautiful. It was one of the options we were looking into. Decided against it bc we're getting married in September and it would have been HOT, but since you're in late October it should be fine! I don't remember the exact number I found, but it was less than $1k, which is better than a lot of the places I saw.

We’re getting married at Wheeler Ferris Wheel! It might work perfect pending the weather. Bringing in food trucks and the Big Friendly to serve beer and wine.

My reception venue is large and was very affordable, compared to everything else in the area. $2,500 until 11 pm, and we got it for 2 extra hours for $500/hr. It is owner by different people than the ones I booked with, so I’m not sure if that will change the price they charge now. 10 west main events. It is located in Yukon, OK.

I second Will Rogers Gardens or if you're in Tulsa, The Gathering Place or Riverside Park?
