Brunch Wedding

Catherine, on December 21, 2020 at 4:27 PM Posted in New Jersey Planning 0 12

Hi, I'm looking for a venue that offers brunch and can accommodate 80 people. We are trying to do this on a small budget. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Hi Catherine - check out local restaurants that may have a party room you can rent out! Often, restaurants are cheaper than ballrooms or other common wedding venues. Or, check out renting out a hotel ballroom/meeting space or even a park in the area, and having brunch catered by a local restaurant.

Without knowing where the wedding is going to be held, it is hard to recommend venues. The best options for something cheap are going to be renting out a banquet hall, fire station or a room restaurant then having a restaurant caterer it.

If you are on a budget, get a blank slate venue where you bring in your own vendors via eventective.com and find a local caterer who serves breakfast.

Where are you located? Community centers, restaurants, and parks are going to be your most cost-effective venues. I'd try using the venue tab here on WW to help with your search.

I'm located in Northern New Jersey. I've browsed here, but I haven't found anything.

My husband is from northern New Jersey and I'm from Pennsylvania so when we got married we choose to get married in Scranton, PA because New Jersey is insanely expensive. Have you considered getting married in Pennsylvania rather than New Jersey since it tends to be cheaper?

How about renting a VFW hall or something like that and then getting catering from your favorite brunch place? Maybe even a diner like Tops in Newark or something?
