Brunch wedding

Is anyone having a morning brunch wedding? I’m curious about your timeline. I’ve just started thinking about mine, my wedding is very low key so we are all doing our own makeup and hair is just going to be down and curled.

We are doing a brunch wedding. Our photographer is arriving by 8 am. First look is 9:30 am. Ceremony starts at 10:30. Cocktail hr starts at 11 am and is only half and hr long and reception starts at 11:30. As far as hair and make up, I have yet to figure that out. Since our place is at a ballroom with a double tree hotel we are staying there the night before since we know we are going to have an early start to our day.

Brunch wedding here! Or breakfast wedding I guess, since we are having all breakfast food at the reception! I don't have the timeline all together yet, but the ceremony starts at 11 am. 1120/30ish we will start pictures and the guests will start the social hour with refreshments and lawn games. So maybe 1230 ish is when we want to start the reception. We will probably exit before , but probably closer to 3.

    7:45am Photographer arrives
9am first look/bride and groom portraits
11am guests start arriving (time on invitation)
    11:30-11:45 ceremony
    Cocktail “hour”/pics
    first dances
    brunch served 12:45!
then everyone will probably be gone by 2:30-3!

I was having a 10am ceremony with a brunch reception but I had to change my time so my bridal party could get their makeup done.

I had a very low key brunch wedding. We set up the church and reception hall the day before,

Myself and Photographer(s) arrived to the church at 8:00 am. I had a friend do my hair and makeup and I didn't have a bridal party other than my 12 year old daughter. FH had two best men and I don't know what their timeline was.

    Wedding began at 10:00 am

Reception 10:20 am directly across the hallway where we ate, had a first dance, cut the "cheesecake" played in the photo booth, listened to speeches, mingled etc.!

We cleared the church by 1:30pm (clean up crew was so large they were done and out of there by 2:00) and had the rest of the day to celebrate with each other! Having a brunch wedding was seriously the best decision we made! I loved every minute of it and would do it again in a heart beat!

We're doing a brunch wedding.....ceremony at 11:30am at the venue, then brunch at a restaurant nearby immediately following around 1:30pm.

I haven't finished our timeline yet, but I think that if you plan ahead and do a practice run of hair and makeup, you'll be able to knock out the timing pretty close to what the actual day will look like.
