Bridesmaids Shoes - All the same or not?

I'm in the minority - my bridesmaids are wearing different colored shoes that will be complimented by the flowers. They are wearing the same color dresses, all knee length but different styles. Kinda like the pic below - we all loved the look and they don't have to buy a new pair as long as it works with the flowers ( although I think they are all buying new shoes.. anything for a new pair of shoes !)

My girls wore knee length dresses and I told them they could wear any kind of shoe with a heel as long as it was in black. They could even pick a pair they already had in their closet. Both girls ended up buying new shoes and they were very similar in style.

I've seen it done with short dresses and different shoes, and I thought it looked great. The only thing the bride asked was for them all to be in heels. So they were all types of black heels, and there were some peep toe, some sandal heels, a wedge, and they were cute! But black is hard to mess up. I think if I wanted to do any other color but black or maybe nude, I'll probably want my BP to be in the same shoe. We'll see.

I'm letting them choose their own. Just told them silver, strappy heels
