I'm buying my two girls the jewelry they can wear on the wedding day. I bought them the same necklace, and different earrings due to the fact that one is short and the other is tall. Then I bought them a make up bag that will have the jewelry in it.

I'm also purchasing the doing of their hair and make up, not really sure this is considered a gift.

I also plan on getting them hangers, a shirt or robe for getting our hair done. I would like everyone to look alike in photos on that day so I will get this for them. I don't know if these gifts suck but it's what I've got right now. I think I'll probably get them one more thing that's more personalized.

I bought my girls each a necklace, and I am giving them all a ring dish in their wedding colors (I was a bridesmaid in all of their weddings)

The gifts don't have to all be the same should be something personal to each BM. Think birthday.

I'm paying for their hair and personalizing the rest if their priest like I'm shopping for their birthday.

    Unpopular: I bought their jewelry.

But their jewelry contains antique silver pieces that are different and picked based on their tastes and are things I might have bought them for their birthdays instead. I'm tucking the jewelry, some chocolates, a coffee gift card, and a thank you note into matching makeup bags. I might throw other small things in as well, like tea or their favorite lip glosses.

I'd do a gift card; then they can buy what they want.

Mini bars (large jar with mini liquor bottles), Origami Owl lockets (to pin to their bouquets, but they can add a chain later, change the charms & have a necklace), jewelry cases, & the typical hangers, monogrammed shirt, zipper case (purse size), their jewelry, hair, & make-up

If they like make-up/skin care/hair care and products like that, a three month subscription to Birchbox. That would be $30.00 each I believe and they can personalize their profiles once they have it and get awesome stuff. I'm a Birchbox addict.

I got my friends earrings and am in the process of making each of them a personalized scrapbook of our friendships. I'm on the 2nd of 4 right now, it's a lot of work but I think they'll appreciate how much work went into them.

For my bridesmaids I am doing a gift basket with all sorts of goodies from the area I am getting married at. I live in wine country so everybody is getting a fabulous bottle of wine with different little things that remind them of my wedding/hometown.

What's wrong with robes and makeup bags? I wouldn't say those gifts "suck".

I know i'm going a bit overboard. I purchased them all Petunia Pickle Bottom (yes i know it's a baby brand, however the quality is impeccable, pockets for days and it's all WASHABLE!!!!!!, plus you can't tell 90% of it is baby stuff) weekenders-they all love mine and two of the girls have borrowed my weekender at different times for trips and raved about them, chap stick, hair ties, a letter from me and i'm designing earrings and bracelets for each girl to wear.

I wanted to do necklaces but since i let each girl pick their own dress all the necklines are really different and decided it wasn't worth it.

I'm getting them a Alex and Ani bracelet that fits their personality and a Starbucks mug. Might get them a small gift card too.

I love the Birchbox idea, if they're into it. I've gotten it for like two years. Three months would be fun.

Besides that, one size may not fit all....but bracelets (try Pure Vida; there is a charity component), could work.....so could chocolate, lol!
