Bridesmaids Dresses Online... Legit??

Kasey, on July 31, 2011 at 8:13 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6

Hi there,

I'm getting into the fun (sigh) of picking our bridesmaids dresses. I picked my gown very early, so now I've been surrounding myself with BM dresses to fill my dress-search void.

Anyway, I've been looking at designers such as Mon Cheri, Sophia Tolli, Mori Lee, and Bari Jay for the girls but I noticed that when I google a certain design there are a number of sites where you can order it from, but they seem a little sketchy and really cheap. Are the knock-offs? I'm trying to keep my girl's budgets in mind so I don't want to look at ones they can't afford but it's hard understanding pricing without being in a store.

Any insights would be great!

Bestbridalprices.com is a internet sale site from Carole Frew Bridals in, I believe it is Illinois.

I had issues because the sizing was off and the designer omitted a design element. My dress was not one of the designers you mentioned, though. I think if your girls can try on one of these dresses elsewhere and get their correct sizing, I don't see a problem with ordering on line from this company. They are ordering from the designer just like the boutique owner would do. Yes, the consultant at the bridal boutique won't be pleased.

This is the only website I know that actually is legit! the dresses are knock-offs but I had no problems with it. I was in a wedding and got a mori lee dress from there and its was perfect. i know others that used it as well and dresses had came in exactly what they asked for.

I was about to get dresses from this website peridress.com for my girls. I Talked to Shirley for a while and she said she could do the exact dress what was on the picture. I asked for samples and told her to get the exact material that was on it and the lace that covered it. When it came to sending it she didnt have it and said she can only do the dress with out the lace.. So no don't do peridress...

Lana...Bestbridalprices are not knock offs. You buy legit designers, unless you are buying Romantic Bridals, which I believe is a Chinese company.

Thank you for the input! I'm hoping to accommodate everyone and maybe this will be an alternative if the salon prices are too high

I was told this weekend (while shopping for bridesmaids dresses) that something to be careful of when ordering online is the color of the fabric. If you're going to have the girls order dresses online, it was suggested to me that they order them all from the same website, and if they can make it happen, all in one order. I was told that by doing it that way, you were making sure the same color fabric/dye was being used, and they would all match perfectly. I was warned that ordering the same dress from different places could result in the colors being slightly off, and that wouldn't make a very happy bride Smiley winking
