BRIDESMAID GIFTS THEY WILL ACTUALLY WANT!?

A bottle of their favorite wine/liquor, gift card to their favorite nail place/store, tumblers are always great. Think of it like its their birthday. Get things they normally love.

I would think of something that you would give them for a birthday or Christmas gift. If you want them to actually use the gift again stay away from anything that says bridesmaid or is personalized with your name or wedding date.

I would approach it on an individual level. Shop for each of them like you're shopping for their birthday. The best gifts are the more personal ones. The gifts shouldn't solely be props for your wedding day.

I also have 8 bridesmaids! I got them their jewelry for the wedding and picked something that was non-traditional...more like something they would wear every day and then rather than "getting-ready robes" I got them each rompers. I wanted something that didn't physically say "bridesmaid" on it or have their monogram since it's likely to change! The rompers will be fun for pictures but also practical for wearing...at least I think. Of course everything is bias!

Anything wedding related isn't a gift, it's you offering to offset the cost for your day. This includes hair, make-up, shoes, etc.

Things I've seen other brides giving their girls which is totally awesome:

Framed picture of you and the bridesmaid

Gift Card to their favorite store

Make-up bags

Tote bags

Any designer products such as Kate Spade phone covers, Coach wristlets, etc

Lush gift bags (adorable!)

Knitted blankets or scarves (if you can do that)

I got them origami owl necklaces with charms that fit their personality. They can change them as they want in the future so it's totally customizable.

LoL well... They're not what you think. Google "living locket" or "Origami Owl" it's a brand name. One of them does have an owl charm in it tho. LoL

I actually got my ladies personalized lunch bag totes. I'm going to put their wedding jewelry and survival kits in them. I have 10 ladies.

I also got mine personalized lunch totes with their first initials on them. I'm putting a mug that has a favorite disney character on it, hand sanitizer, cubit earrings and probably either a small bottle of alcohol or candy in it.

I made scrapbooks for each girl about our friendship. I just finished them this past weekend...about $80 in supplies (I had a lot of scrapbooking supplies already) and 150 hours of labor.

Someone from this forum gave me the idea for the lunch totes. I then realized that none of my ladies have that and they are all hard working women who mostly carry plastic bags with Tupperware to work...lol.. I went with costume jewelry style pearls and earrings since my dress had some pearls on the belt. I checked with my MOHs and they loved the idea so I will add a little extra surprise to their bags. In the survivals kits I am going to include a letter about our friendship too. www.exclusivelyweddings.com has great ideas and are having a sale as well.

I got mine a bracelet with their name on them I wanted to get them matching and it was really hard to choose something for all of them!
