    My girls paid for:
Their dresses ($130 at David’s bridal)
    they are planning a bachelorette
Shoes... their dresses are long so they can wear any gold shoe

My mom is throwing a shower

    i am covering
    their hair
    their jewelry
all of them are invited to get their nails done with me, if they come I’ll pay, if not I’ll bring them a bottle of the polish to the hotel, or tell them the color if they want it done in their own.

undecided on what I want to with makeup (require it and pay it optional and they can cover)

Mine are paying for dresses. I'm giving them a color and length from Azazie and they can choose the style they want.

I'm not requiring hair and makeup for them. I invited them to come get theirs done at the salon with me if they want, but because it's optional, I won't be covering it.

They can wear any shoes or jewelry they like.

MIL is hosting/covering the shower. I'm not asking or expecting anyone to throw me a bachelorette.

I designed my bridesmaids’ outfits (they’re wearing mix and match tops and skirts. Since they were made in NYC, they are definitely on the pricey side—between $200 and $300. They’re real silk, and they can be worn again after the wedding. I didn’t want them to feel obligated to wear my designs considering the cost, but they all agreed to.

I was conscious about how much they were spending on their outfits so I didn’t do a big bachelorette party. I guess those that are coming from out of town are getting hotel rooms. I am covering hair and makeup and jewelry.

My girls paid for their dress (they were more casual length blush lace dresses that only cost 60 bucks because I didn't want them to spend an arm and a leg and also wanted them to be able to wear the dresses again maybe as a date night dress or something), Hair and Makeup (only if you are not requiring it - aka let them choose if they want to pay for it, if you want it required you will have to pay), I didn't have a bachelorette party in the normal sense of the term - we just went to get our nails done and went for brunch and we each paid for our own meals and nails, they helped out with my bridal showers but didn't have to pay for anything (they put items together but since they weren't the main hostesses - my MIL threw one and the ladies from my church threw another one). It really depends on your friends and what they offer to do/help out with.

I have two bridesmaids. We bought their gowns. Really the only thing I'm requiring is they get their shoes. I've requested rose-gold. Both have opted out of hair and make-up.

Oh hon. You'll hear this from everyone but you cant "require" them to do more than their dress.

I just it might not be fair to weigh in on this one, but I only have one bridesmaid/maid of honor and she is my 12 year old daughter. She, obviously, isn't paying for anything
