What is everyone doing for their bridesmaids and maid/matron of honor? Are you putting them all in the same thing or are they all doing something different? What about coordinating but not matching colors?

I personally really wanted my girls to love their dresses (I've never been in a wedding but I have been to quite a few and I have seen some dresses that you can tell the girls didn't like and were not comfortable in). I am a firm believer one size fits all is not a real thing. Certain body types and skin pigments are complimented by certain styles and colors. I wanted my girls to be comfortable and possibly be able to wear the dresses again down the road. I let my girls pick their styles only stipulation was color had to be Navy. It worked out though. I have 5 girls and in total there are 3 different dresses. MOH has one style, 2 girls have another style and the last two have another style. Peak the dresses below Smiley laugh

Matron of Honor (it will be navy)cfb_1234425.jpgMy sister and childhood best friend (also will be navy)cfb_1234427.jpg

Another best friend of mine (this will be the color of all dresses) cfb_1234433.jpgLong time family friend ( they got the same one as well)cfb_1234435.jpg

What did y'all decide and drop some pictures! Smiley smile

This is gorgeous! What color is your dress? I wouldn't want two of my girls matching me so closely as they do in your inspo pic but I like the idea behind the gold. It's quite pretty!

I gave my bridesmaids the option of different dresses as long as they are Burgundy and long just because the night of the wedding they will not be allowed to change so I want them to be comfortable. My MOH will be blush but long as well.

I had mine choose their own and they all chose something of a different style as long as the colors were within a gradient of pink

Thanks! My dress is white with silver accents, beading and crystals. We have a winter theme so for the ceremony the bridesmaids will also wear a brown fur wrap. I will have a blush wrap. Here is a side view of my dress!

A little bit of first come first serve, and a little bit of I don't particularly care if they wear the same color or not. This is the example I sent my BMS.

Kilts are available for rent from a couple of companies in the US. The hardest to find was a matching jacket for my 10 year old son. And $$$$ OMG. Definitely not cheap. Even rentals were $250 each for the groomsmen, we subsidized the cost. Groomsmen kilts, my FH and son have a different tartan, but the same jackets.

I'm leaving it up to my girls. I actually have 2 MOHs and 2 bridesmaids. I just told them the designer, the color, and the length. Because everyone is spread out (2 in va, 1 in ma, 1 in ca) we started a Facebook group message where they can discuss what they are thinking about and everything so that 3 dont chose the same and then one is the weirdo (I say lovingly lol). I just was more comfortable with them chosing what they feel best in and they like for their body types... plus, I have one who will be 8 month pregnant soooo yeah, gotta be flexible :-D

I'm planning on doing all the same color, fabric anr length. As far as style goes, I was going to let them decide what they're most comfortable in for their body shape.
I want them to all kind of look similar with color and length, but depending on bust shape/size, one style wont be flattering on everyone.

Yeah i understand that. You can choose a collection and they can choose from the same collection and just find the one that works best for them! Smiley smile Originally thats what my girls decided to do until they actually went and tried dresses on and couldn't agree on a collection. I love the varying look. I'm thinking I will do my MOH (shes in her own dress) and then stagger the other two so they aren't next to the same dress just to give a little flare for pictures haha.

Very true! So easy to go in with one style/thought in mind ans be set on it but once you see it in person, you can just completely change your mind! What you have planned sounds like a great idea, I'm sure its going to look amazing!!
