Bridesmaid Dresses- The same or different!?

Same color/length/fabric, different styles! They each got to choose what style they wanted to wear.

We are doing same color but different style as well. They will be selecting their dresses at the end of July and will be wearing burgundy!

All of my girls dresses will be in the same. I am very OCD so I knew mismatched dresses would not work for me! All your dresses are beautiful though! This is the dress my girls chose. It is Arden from Azazie and in the emerald green color. My girls chose it because of 1) the slit lol and 2) it has pockets!

I picked 3 different styles they can pick whichever style they prefer.

Love that navy color! I love the newer trend of same color but different dress styles that complement each BM’s figure. 👍

My MOH chose the dress on the left which is a halter. We are going to take off the sash and replace it with tartan ribbon which we will also have on the other girls dresses. I left it up to my other 2 bridesmaids if they want that dress or the dress on the right which is a 'tank' with a mid back, about $100 cheaper.

I have two co-MOHs with very different body types, so I’m planning to let them pick their own dresses as long as they are the same length and colors coordinate with my wedding colors. My best friend has fallen in love with a full length sequin horn in rose gold, which I feel like means they both need to wear sparkly gowns. I love the navy and I think it works perfectly that you have two and two and your MOH in something with a bit of lace!

I am having my bridesmaids choose their own dresses! I want them to be comfortable. It's a slippery slope though. I'm in a wedding in October and the bride was letting us choose our own dresses. Me and our friend (we're both MOH) felt the best in the same dress so now all the BMs are wearing the same dress because she thought it'd look weird if two of us had the same dress.

My girls ranged in age, size, shape, style, etc. in EVERY way you could imagine lol. Plus, two were pregnant, one with twins. I knew from day 1 that trying to put them all in the same dress or even all in the same color would be torture!

3 wedding colors: David's Bridal Oasis, Horizon and Lapis. We had two in each color. We let them all pick the one they felt best in and it worked out perfectly. Then I just told them to get any long dress in their color. Didn't care if it had sleeves, lace, whatever - as long as it didn't have like...a boatload of sequins or anything (which was not an issue lol). They were happy, everyone got to stay in their budget, and everyone was comfortable.

All my girls will be wearing the same dress. I like the idea of letting them pick their own dress but thought there may be a few people that would pick something I didn't love... and I wanted their dresses to be over the top and glammed out since my dress (and whole wedding) is. This is the dress all my girls will be wearing! You can't tell in this picture, but the dress has silver glitter all over it as well.

I wore the dress on the left in a wedding 3 years ago! It's very pretty on. Ours was a champagne color, but I love the navy!!

Yeah i feel you there. Probably should have them both in something sparkly. Sounds beautiful! Yeah it wasn't planned that way at all which is funny it worked out as 2 and 2 and then MOH. Its cool too because hers is the only one shoulder dress which makes her really stand out a little bit. lol

I understand that. My MOH was actually more concerned about dresses than I was haha. If I had everyone in their own dress and then 2 decided they wanted the same I'd just put a person between them but I can understand how in your instance that would be difficult lol. I honestly didn't think much about it lol

Oh these are beautiful and all compliment eachother very well. When I first started I really wanted to do mismatch dresses with style and color and choose a pastel theme of colors but seemed that worked better for spring time not a fall wedding lol plus navy is a very easy color for most skin tones thankfully!

Actually the dress on the left is the one my sister originally wanted and hated it when she put it on lol I think its beautiful!

I will have them all in the same color, fabric, and length, but will let them choose the style.

Thank you! Most everyone is the same size.... both of my sister-in-laws had babies pretty recently so they're the only ones wanting to lose weight for the dress. I know they'll look great in it, though, and they have until February to lose the weight they want to lose.
