Congrats! I recently went to the wedding of my best friend's Mom. She's in her late 50s and didn't feel comfortable in a regular wedding dress and didn't want to do the white/cream suit that many older brides opt for. She got a beautiful champagne colored evening dress from a department store. Maybe you'd like something like this? http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/3108009?origin=category&resultback=0
Oh... and you should totally wear some shoes like these under the dress *winks* http://www.overstock.com/Clothing-Shoes/Glaze-by-Adi-Womens-Leopard-Print-Peep-toe-Pumps/4128797/product.html?cid=123620&fp=F&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=12134041
Here is another idea, some department stores offer personal shoppers. The service is free and there is not usually a minimum purchase required. I know more than a few stylish, elegantly dressed women who rely on their services. If interested, you can call your local department stores. They will also work within your budget.
