Hello Ladies! I've been hearing a lot about the weddings of some of my coworkers lately, and I've noticed an interesting trend.

Bride #1 was so nervous, she threw up, and her mother had to give her 2 (!!) Valium to get her through the day.

Brides #2 and 3 also threw up every morning the week before their weddings out of nerves.

I hadn't given it much thought, really, but I didn't think I'd really be that nervous about the wedding; now I'm slightly concerned.

Were any of you physically sick from stress over your wedding, or do you think you might be???

I got soo nervous the day of my bachelorette when everyone started arriving. I had a reeeally upset stomach and I felt really awkward, like everyone was staring at me. I've never taken anxiety meds so I wouldn't want to start on the day of my wedding but I will for sure have some alcohol before hand to calm me down. I ordered a card for my FHs parents today "thank you for raising the man of my dreams" and I started crying at work, I haven't even written anything in the card...I'm going to be a hot mess.

Nope! We were totally euphoric at our wedding. And pretty laid back throughout the planning process.

Funny you should ask. I have 37 days till out wedding and I have been having acid reflux now for 2 weeks went to ER and have been seeing my doctor. Its all linked to stress and anxiety. But there's nothing to be anxious about I think....the wedding is planned...they why am I having these gastric issues?

I puked the morning of my wedding. I was surprised since I had been so calm the entire time but it all hit me that morning. I had some drama with my MIL that I didn't anticipate that I am sure led to it also. I had to take a quick walk outside and the fresh air helped me and I was back to normal by the first look!

The MUA had to wait on me to get my color back since I was so pale she couldn't get a foundation to match me.

I normally get a very nervous stomach, like i'm on the toilet every hour lol but surprisingly day of (actually the whole week of) i didn't get nervous or sick at all.

I had constant company with me and stayed busy so i think it was hard to get nerves up or get sick. I had a mini sleepover with half of my BMs while DH was at his mamas. I think it helped that i was constantly busy.

I'm not nervous but I'm anxious to get through the ceremony with no disasters.

I've been stressed by trying to figure certain aspects out and some family drama from FH's side.

That being said - I haven't gotten sick but my insomnia is back full-force and I'm popping ambien every night.

I tend to feel nauseous from the stress and my stomach hurts but I don't throw up.

    I'm hoping I'll be fine...

How about the grooms? My brother almost had to stop mid-ceremony to ask for water during his wedding!

I haven't had an appetite for the last 3 days. I think mine might just be more stress then nerves though.

I do event planning for my job, and not being able to control everything happening the day of my wedding will make me a little nervous. I'll have to resist the urge to constantly call puerile and check on them to make sure everything is on schedule. good news is my wedding is pretty small and I have no bridal party so it shouldn't be too bad.

No upset stomach or anything..I was just a bit anxious worrying if people would have fun or not; also I don't like being the center of attention..everything worked out fine for the most part! except for salads taking forever to get out.

    Good lord, why!??!?!?!?

If I was going to get sick over a wedding it should have been before my first one. LOL

I'm a naturally anxious person, so I will probably be a ball of nausea and shakiness. (And I'm definitely not a "young bride", just turned 32) but I can't take anything for my nerves (allergic to alot of meds, or puts me to sleep), also don't drink alcohol...

so it should be interesting lol.

Well I will have my Ativan and maybe a drink or two just in case. I know I will be excited but my nerves will probably flare up. And maybe this is TMI but once my nerves kick in, "the runs" will follow and I don't want to deal with that lol... So like I said, Ativan will be my friend Smiley smile

Never even thought about this. I'm the type to get sick easily or nervous for that matter. It will be pretty weird if I do. But I have been emotional lately and that's not normal for me. So I guess anythng can happen.
