View Quoted Comment Yes and no at the same time lol. We have always talked about getting married so that was never a secret that it would happen. For my birthday, we were going on a cruise two days later and I totally expected for him to do it then but he did it on my birthday instead. So getting engaged wasn't a surprise more just I didn't expect him to do it that day instead of on the cruise.
