We are paying for our own wedding, but I am still having my father give a welcome toast and grace.

We're paying as well, and not having any toasts or speeches. We have bridesmaids and groomsmen but no best man or maid of honor- we just don't want to listen to people talk lol

Totally your call. I plan to ask my father and the best man to make a toast if they want to and are comfortable. But if any of your parents are around then they may want to make a toast.

Your parents can still toast you or your closest friends, definitely make sure to stand up and thank everyone for coming yourself tho

We dont have a wedding party and our guests list is 25. FH is going to make a toast and my BFF is going to make one. Shes pretty much my MOH without actually walking down the aisle and standing with me.
