Bridal Shower Venue in NJ?!

Payal, on December 9, 2017 at 6:52 PM Posted in New Jersey Planning 0 12

Hi everyone. My sister is getting married in April and I'm looking for a cheap venue in NJ to host her bridal shower. She's in med school so she'll be traveling up until her wedding date. I was thinking of a travel themed bridal shower and just wanted suggestions on where I can host it. Thinking of having a few dishes from various countries that our on their dream places to visit. Just need a place that has tables and chairs. We would be making some of the food and catering a few dishes from restaurants. Also would be decorating on our own.

About 40 people and preferably anywhere between north and central Jersey. I currently live in SC so I would be planning everything from here. And it would be the first weekend of Feb 2018.

My wedding venue is Doolans Shore Club in Spring Lake NJ, but I know they host bridal showers and other events as well and they are VERY affordable!

    Wyckoff Women's Club

    Englewood Women's Club

    Ridgewood Unitarian Society

    Totowa Elks Club

    Pompton Lakes Elks Club

Actually, you might want to google "Elks Club" and you'll find dozens of them in north and central Jersey.

Mcloones pier house in long branch. They do an awesome brunch or lunch. Can be private or semi private and right on the water. It is off season too.

Do you have family or friends in New Jersey who might let you use their home? It can be ridiculously expensive to rent a venue for a shower. Shower guests are supposed to be the bride's nearest and dearest. so the size of the guest list shouldn't require a venue.

My bridal shower was a brunch at Centro Grille in Robbinsville, I don't think it was too expensive and they did brunch and mimosas.

That's what my maid of honor is planning for my bridal shower. Glad to hear it went well for someone else.

Rooneys Oceantfront in long branch has an excellent brunch buffet on Sundays for $32. I been there two years straight after thanksgiving and I been hinting to my MOH (sister) to have mine there. Plus you don't have to clean up!
