Hi all!
I am in a pickle... we are 74 days out and I need to give my aunt the guest list for my bridal shower but I am conflicted on who to invite! We are having a very small mostly friends ceremony due to cost, and then our parents are throwing us a family reception about a month after (also in conjunction with my fiance's brother getting married 20 days before us). My question is... if everyone knows the situation that we are in and hardly any family is invited to the actual ceremony, can I still invite my aunts and cousins to the shower? Everyone has been invited to the reception. I'm just not sure of the etiquette here but I keep hearing that no invite to the wedding means NO invite to the shower... but that would mean I only have a few friends and even fewer family in attendance!! Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!!!
