bridal shower day of time line? who eats first, games, presents...

Normally everyone eats at the same time.

At my sister's baby shower everyone ate at the same time (except me because I was running around like a lunatic..my own fault) and then she opened her gifts/we played games. Then we had cake.

My shower is Sunday.

Mingle, eat, games, gifts, cake, bye bye. Pretty simple.

And as far as who eats first..nobody? Perhaps the bride/BP gets served first but everyone should be eating at the same time. It's weird otherwise.

Well if I remember correctly I got my food first but everyone ate at the same time. It's good you have a seating plan for the bride because it was kinda awkward that I had to choose where to sit as the guest of honor and felt like I had to choose over people. Also, depending in the time of the party you may want to do lunch first. If people are hungry they might be grouchy for games

I would definitely have everyone eat at the same time. For mingling/games/gifts you can be really flexible, and keep the shower more casual. I normally see the same timeline that @Mrs. Nicole posted!

I wanted to double check because a co-workers said the BM should eat (get served) last since we are hosting. Yes everyone eats at the same time, but bridal party will go last. But I was thinking we should stuff our faces first to move on to what's next, lol...So just wanted to see what the main consensus was in the wedding world. The bridal shower is at 11am.

That makes sense! I'd agree on serving the bride first and hosts last, but I'm not sure I've even noticed this at bridal showers
