Bridal portraits after the wedding

Due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, tardiness, etc), we did not get a chance to do as many of the photos we wanted for our wedding and we are doing a redo next month. We're going to a different location (where we had originally wanted our engagement photos, but couldn't due to a hurricane), but will still be wearing our wedding clothes. The DH is very excited about this stress-free day of photos. And as a huge bonus, we get to bring our dog along for photos!!

Question. Do I wear my hair and makeup the same? Do we need the same flowers as we had for the wedding day? Are there any other details I should remember?

    I think it’s all in what you want. If you don’t want it to look like re-dos that were taken later, make everything the same. If you don’t care, do what you want.

    You don't "need" the same hair and makeup and flowers, but if it's important to you, go ahead. It will likely cost some money to recreate that, so how much is that worth to you?

    I'm actually really glad to hear that others are doing this. I'm DW, so I will probably not have time to get nice bridal pics before the wedding, unless I can do it the day of. I'm highly considering doing them either before or after in the town I live in, even if the scenery wouldn't be as cool. (Before if just me, after ..and risk of a stained/damaged dress...with FH/DH). If I did hire the photographer and everything, I would personally try to do my hair and makeup pretty similar, and hire someone to do it.
