Bridal bouquet at reception - what do you do with it?

I'm very excited about my bouquet and paying a pretty penny for it. It will have flowers that are meaningful to us and I have a charm with my grandparents' photos to hang from it. I'm thinking about setting up some table space by the welcome table to display it. Is this a thing? Has anyone seen this before? Should I lay out out or have a vase with water?

    I decided to have empty vases at our head table to put our bouquets in when we enter the reception. It’s also one less table decoration to worry about. Hope this helps!

    Every wedding I have attended has had vases with water for the bouquets. That is for bride and bridesmaids.
