Are any of you ladies getting one done before your special day? I have an appointment tomorrow and I’m so nervous, first time waxer here!

Also, I’m now ONE WEEK away from my wedding! Eeeeeeek!

I get a Brazilian every 4-6 weeks. Just take some ibuprofen an hour before your appointment and try to relax while you're there.

Your aesthetian came make a real difference in your experience; some are excellent at what they do and try to make it less painful.

A lot of people like it. The first time I cried and then I kept doing it for six months until I said never again. I ended up getting laser hair removal which was expensive but in the long run it’s permanent so I was done after nine appts.

So you guys, there's this product called HairFree. I know it sounds hokey but it works! They're FDA approved and brand themselves as laser hair removal in a bottle. It's basically a depalitory that has hair growth inhibitor. It takes a while and consisitent use but it works! 10 weeks in and barely any hair in the places I don't want. So it might be something to look into for my fellow pain (and cost) avoiders!

I love Brazilians! I’m not as consistent as I should be, but when I do get them it’s just so nice not having to worry for a few weeks! It can be pricey but it’s so worth it! I’ll definitely be getting one a few days before my big day.

I'm considering doing this, but I'm terrified to get this done. I've heard its painful but it's worth it. Let us know how it goes honestly, please.

I was getting them done once a month or so, and I’ll never go back to shaving! No itchy razor bumps or ingrown hairs! I actually bought a warmer and professional wax for myself and I just do it on my own now. Way, Way cheaper! I just usually need a glass of wine to make it easier haha.

I used to do waxing all the time but switched to sugaring, for sensitive skin I find it’s less irritating and my hair grows back slower - a lot less red bumps too and less occurrences of ingrown hair. I recommend making sure you know which Brazilian you want - there are different ‘levels’ of hair removal which can also make it cheaper or more expensive depending on what you want. I always get an Extended Bikini (which is a partial Brazlian) and it saves me $25!

If you go just make sure it’s not the week before your period. It hurts a lot more. I made that mistake once and I was almost in tears.

Make sure you exfoliate regularly afterwards

I love love love this!!! The first time I did it I was so nervous too because I didn’t know what to expect.. the lady made me feel so comfortable, as if she was getting my nails done or something else.. so it’s all about feeling comfortable.. I did feel a little of pain but nothing I couldn’t handle. now I do it all the time and the pain is nothing. I hate shaving after I discovered waxing... it feels so much better and it lastes a long time... so I wax every 3 months or so.. yes it’s expensive, $50 each time.. but the feeling is worth it!!! Good luck!Smiley smile

I will & FYI if you’re interested in getting one, European Wax Center offers 50% off for first timers. That’s why I’m going honestly 😂

Which brand did you buy??? I tried doing it myself once and the product I bought was just too messy.. so I went back to my regular waxing lady, she is so quick, 15mins and we’re done... lol

Oh it is!!!!! It’s so smooth after, and of course he loves it. Lol. Just make sure you pick the right place and the right person... my first time I went to this spa and the lady made me feel great, on the 4th time I found out she was gone and so I decided to give it a try with someone new and OMG!!! She was the absolute worse... she was so messy and didn’t know what she was doing.. ended up finding a new place after that...

I’ve been getting a Brazilian every 5-6 weeks for about 5 years now. The first time HURT LIKE HELL! I even got bruised and welts from it lol. Now, I’ve been going to the European Wax Center for a couple years, and they do a great job!!! Very affordable too. Still hurts a little every time mostly in the sensitive areas close to the goods haha.

I want to try Hair Free! Which formula did you use and where did you use it? I’m naturally so hairy that I’m worried the regular female hair remover won’t work for me 😂
