Bracelets for the bride... yay or nay?

Cassie, on February 25, 2015 at 4:31 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 42

Are any of you wearing bracelets on your wedding day? I know it sounds like a silly question. I was just at a jewelry store looking at some, but couldn't make up my mind if I would get annoyed with them or not. Having them slide up and down, get caught on my dress, having to adjust it a lot. Maybe I'm just not finding the right bracelets..

Just curious!

My dress has a lot going on around the neck (illusion top) so I decided that if I wanted jewelry I'd better do a bracelet. I ended up getting a pretty inexpensive one that matches the "belt" that we sewed onto my dress perfectly. It's got the rhinestone-jewel look. It might annoy me on the day of, but I'm gonna wear it!

I've got a deep V, so didn't want a necklace, and went with a statement bracelet and earrings instead

I'm not wearing a bracelet. I don't usually because they get in the way.

I am wearing a nice bracelet with my dress with a small, floating pearl necklace. I cannot wear anything bigger than that around my neck or else it would look too busy with the straps and beading.

The only reason that I'm wearing a bracelet is because my SIL wore my mom's diamond bangle in her wedding, so my mom is kind of turning it into a tradition. If she hadn't asked me to wear it on my wedding day, I probably wouldn't have worn one.

I'm wearing a bracelet because I don't wear necklaces or earrings and still want some jewelry. I'll have flowers in my hair so I won't be wearing a headband or tiara either.

I wore a wide one with fake pearls. I think it was this one. http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_pearl-and-crystal-x-design-bracelet-j8007b_accessories-all-jewelry

I liked the look and it was stretch, so it didn't move around too much. I felt like my dress had too much going on (deep V, sparkly belt) for a necklace but that I needed something more than just earrings.

FH and I were talking about gifts and one think I suggested for myself was a tennis bracelet. I have always loved wearing them as is and it seems like the perfect gift as I am hoping for something simple and pretty! So I think my FH will be gifting me one and if not I still would want one for the day of Smiley smile

It's so funny when I am trying to decide about something and right then someone else posts about it! lol

I am looking at bracelets right now. My wrist is really small and I hate things sliding around on it, but I am looking at some nice stretch style bracelets with pearls and rhinestones.

I'm wearing a bracelet. My "something borrowed" are my mother's pearls. I'll wear her bracelet, earrings and necklace.

Nope, bracelets don't mix well with lace unless they are smooth bangles and that is not happening.

I am. My mom got it for me in Florida. It's a simple glitzy chain link that fits my tiny wrist perfectly.

I have a gold bangle that I am wearing and a brass cuff (very thin), I wear them always. I'm deciding if I'm going to also wear a silver one that FH gave me last Christmas.

I'm wearing a bracelet to complement the rest of my jewelry (earrings, necklace, haircomb). I plan to wear it on my right hand. I got it from Etsy and had it custom-sized, because I have little wrists lol, so it won't be sliding all over the place!

My big concern is having it snag on my dress. It's made of a very fine tulle... but I'm worried my wrists will look 'naked'. I'll have to look for something smooth and petite.

I'm wearing a bracelet and matching necklace. There is very little bling on my dress so I think it will be really nice to have some on me!
