Bracelets for the bride... yay or nay?

I'm not much of a bracelet person so nay for me. I will be wearing a pearl necklace and probably some pearl drop earrings.

I have a single champagne pearl on a delicate chain, along with the same pearls as very delicate drop earrings (the top of my dress is an antique lace, I don't want to detract from the dress), I have a little bling on the belt of my dress, and I am taking a strand of my grandmother's pearls, which are more ivory, but damaged, so can't wear them as a necklace...I am making a double-stranded bracelet out of it. She passed in November, and to fix the clasp on this is stupid expensive. So I'm going to make it a bracelet and keep a part of her close to me. Plus, I love bracelets, they're totally my thing. I can't imagine not wearing one!

I didn't want to wear a necklace, and my earrings just seemed like not enough, so I found this bracelet to match my earrings! And I have a chubby wrist so the seller was able to add length for me, so I'm in love! Pretty sure I will wear it on my right wrist though so it doesn't take away from my rings.

I wore a bracelet Ihave big wrists, so normally they don't fit. while wedding planning my groom got some kind of coupon and gift certificate to Macy's. so he told me he wanted to take me shopping, though I could pick, he wanted to see about getting me a nice bracelet.

so I found one of swarovski crystals and it was elastic so fit wasn't a issue.

I couldn't have imagined being a bride without it. thought I had told him, but the last few weeks when he asked me if I picked my jewelry yet, told him just the one piece, the bracelet you gave me he was very touched

I don't wear very much jewelry in my day-to-day, so I'm going to flaunt my naked wrists as they are. The only blind I need is my ring.

I bought one from a bride on the bride 2 bride facebook page, but now I'm not sure I'm going to wear it because I've picked out a kind of large necklace so I'm worried it'll be too much.

I did and even with my lace dress it never snagged it or anything like that. It was from a matching set with my necklace and earrings.

Cassie, I have the same problem as you. The attendant even told me to choose a bracelet carefully because of the snagging. I would like to wear one though because I'm not wearing a necklace.

I wore a tennis bracelet on my right hand that my MIL loaned me. Looking back at the ceremony pictures, it's the only piece of jewelry I can really see and I'm glad I had it on.

I'm wearing an Alex & Ani style bracelet that I made. I'm giving my BMs matching ones to wear as well.

I wore one because my neckline was higher and needed something to wear on my wrist, or at least I thought it was needed. It never snagged my dress and it complemented my look.

My mom gifted me a Pandora bracelet at the rehearsal dinner...she said I "didn't have to wear it" but you know how that goes

I didn't snag on my dress though, and mine was also tulle. Also so many people will be stepping on your dress you won't be as worried about keeping it in pristine condition once the ceremony is over.

I did! you can kind of see it in this photo. I didn't even notice it and my dress was lace, and it was not a "smooth" bracelet

I wore a small bracelet because I wanted that extra sparkle. It didn't bother me at all. You're so busy with 1,000 thoughts going through your head that you forget that you even have it on. (or at least I did)

I was going to wear my tennis bracelet. I have a vneck dress so I right now, no necklace or it would have to be dainty.

I will be wearing a bracelet as well.

I will be wearing a fake pearl set, but the necklace will be chunkier.

I'm thinking about (& probably will wear it ) wearing the Tiffany bracelet FH gave me the first birthday I had with him
