Bow tie or no bow tie- beach wedding

We are getting married next month at OC beach. We both decided that they could wear khaki shorts & a short sleeve white button down shirt with a bow tie to match the colors of the bridesmaids dresses. Maid of honor is “spa” and the bridesmaids are “coral reef” so I was thinking the best mans bow tie could be “spa” and the groomsmen can be “coral reef”. Then my FH would wear a black bow tie... would this look weird!? I can’t find pictures on Pinterest that have them wearing shorts & a short sleeve button down with a bow tie. Or should we skip the bow ties all together. Also, I’m wearing a full wedding gown for the DW.
My sister (moh) said they might look to casual without it since I’m wearing a full gown.. Opinions would be great thank you
