Boutonnière Help Needed

Katie, on July 23, 2019 at 6:54 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 8
For some reason I can’t figure out how to attach a picture, and there is only an option to attach a link... below is what my fiancé picked out. It isn’t a great picture, but could use some ideas for boutonnière. I don’t want the traditional white rose or lily. I’d like something edgy/unique without competing with the pocket square. Also, I’m making them myself. I can make very realistic paper flowers. Wedding is in 2 weeks!

Do you have another color in your palette besides purple? Like what're your other wedding colors, that way maybe you can have the boutonniere be the accent color

Those are nice, but still a bit traditional for my taste. Thank you though!

Soooo ... funny story, lol! I grew my own flowers for the wedding. It’s outside, and we have flowers of every coloyof the rainbow, because apparently seed packets lie when they tell you they are solid color. The moms are supposed to be in Royal Blue to bring a bit of cohesion, while standing out beautifully against the bridesmaids, but one is wearing navy blue. Go figure!🤦🏻‍♀️😄 so really, the only definite color people will pick out is dark purple.

What about like feathers? Or herbs? Dried lavemdar would be nice with that deep purple and simple!
