Bought the dress, need reassurance!!!

Okay might be a tad long but here it is. Husband and I are throwing a party for our 5th anniversary. We only did the court house part when we actually got married so I am viewing this as our wedding. Anyway...I was supposed to go dress shopping with my mom a month from now but last week I just needed to do something fun and exciting and a salon by my house had an opening so I went by myself. I had no inclination to buy anything 1. Because I was by myself and 2. Because I know the salon is really expensive and in no way did I want to spend more than $1000 (over the phone they said their gowns start at $1300).
So of course #3 I put on takes my breath away. It was nowhere near what I thought I'd pick. I tried on maybe 15 other dresses. Not one came even close. Anyway... Icing on the cake was that it was a pronovias gown originally $2500 but a sample dress going for...$400!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I put it on twice and every time I just gasped..I walked around in it..saw it in all kinds of lighting...it is nothing what I thought it'd be but it made me feel so amazing. And I bought it

I guess I'm looking for some reassurance as it might have been a more spontaneous purchase than I had expected...
