I was going to do full on diy projects for centerpieces and invitations. The centerpiece would be simple and used from wine bottles that I drank from the last two years. I also saved up dressing bottles and olive oil jars. Even someone provided some old classic alcohol bottles from the 50s-80s (Not sure date but they look cool) with some awesome designs on the outside.
I felt these would work and I could make a simple bbq decor. The more I try and explain it and practice the decorations I hear the echoes of ‘that seems like a lot of work’, ‘you can only put one flower in that bottle,’ ‘oh don’t do that... it will end up being...,’ and on and on and on.
I understand they are trying to look out for me or they think it’ll look ugly And don’t want me to be disappointed. However I am in need of help of what I can do to MAKE it work and what to avoid a complete Pinterest Wedding fail. Not naysayers.
So I ask you all. How do you overcome all your DIY naysayers and know when to just stop the diy and buy the products?
