Blusher veil at 2nd wedding

Hello! I am getting married for the 2nd time next year. It's my Fiancés first wedding and he really wanted me to wear a veil so he can lift it. I know generally speaking people say not to do this for a 2nd wedding but I found a long- ish birdcage veil we could do this with and I think it looks so pretty. I don't care at all about the tradition and symbolism of the veil. Would I be crazy to wear a birdcage/blusher veil at a 2nd wedding?

I'm about to have my second, his first wedding also...I get how you're feeling. Eventually I came to the realization of, THIS is my wedding to the love of my life. Not just my second wedding. I want THIS wedding to count and be one of the most memorable days of my life. Don't dilute anything just because you've done this before. Make it count! Wear the blusher!!

I didn't wear a blusher to my first - and so far only wedding. I can't remember when I last saw a bride wear one or groom lift it and we've been to 2 dozen weddings. Maybe it's a regional thing?
