Blusher or no?

I've always wanted to wear a blusher. When I think of getting married I've always seen myself with the traditional blusher. But I was just asked this question and had to realize that I don't really know! I mean, I'm 30 y/o and I've been with FS for 5 plus years. Do I really need to cover my face?...

What type of veil are you wearing and why?

Vt...I don't really think you are wearing 2 veils, are you??? You probably have one veil with a chapel or cathedral length train, and a blusher(the part that covers the face).

For the blusher brides, the blusher can either be lifted when you join your groom during the processional, or can be lifted after the vows/rings--before the kiss. Just make sure that whoever lifts it knows to lift high and over in an arcing pattern, vs trying to slide it back on your head!

If I have a veil, I will not cover my face at least I don't think I will. I've been with FS for over a decade...unless I do a birdcage veil, which will cover part of my face.

I've been debating this too! I like the idea of Fh lifting it at the alter before the vows. Sigh, if I cut everything out I disagree with due to historical reasons, I probably wouldn't have a ceremony at all. lol

My problem is that I just don't know what I want. I thought I wanted a blusher, but it seems hard to find one I actually like. I keep chasing this vision and it keeps not working out.

I also have been debating. My hesitations are the fact that my face sweats like a man and I'm afraid that between the nerves and everything else having that over my face will just be annoying. Also, I'm just not sure that I want it. I also think I'd like my eyes to meet with everyone when I walk down the isle. But then I think and I'm like... well... I'll never get another chance to wear so I wanna be 100% positive. Two of my friends who recently got married did not wear them. One regrets it and the other seems to be fine with it.

@ Beverly E. I do have 2 veils. They both are single layer. They wanted to stack the veils to give it more umph on top. We tried a blusher but I did not like the way it looked at all. Its is def 2 veils we had to buy both! And my head was sore from taking them in and out lol Smiley smile
