Blush bride in need of HELP!!

Hillary, on March 6, 2017 at 7:59 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 34

After buying 3 traditional white dresses (ughh..long story), I've decided to go with my heart and buy a blush wedding dress. Im in love with my decision, but have no idea how to accessorize it. Are there any past or future brides out there who are also wearing blush? If so, please share pictures of how you completed your look. Thanks!!

I don't have any pictures but when I tried on a blush gown they accessorized me in rose gold (belt and head band). It accented really nicely.

Thanks! My ring is rose gold which is why I liked the look of blush with, but didn't want to go overboard with rose gold (if that's even possible)

This is the dress. Beading on the top and tulle on the bottom

Your dress is gorgeous, and you look gorgeous in it. I agree rose gold, or you could do blush or even ivory pearls, even white gold and silver look great with blush. I will be mixing with my blush dress, rose gold necklace and earrings, but my e-ring and band are white gold, I will have on a platinum ring and my pewter glitter manolo blanik shoes, it all looks good together.

So you bought 4 dresses total? What will you do with the others?

I think rose gold would look great! I don't have an actual picture of myself in my dress but this is it...it has a blush tulle skirt and it's champagne colored on top. I'm removing the bow and doing a matching gold belt and headpiece, so will most likely not wear too much other jewelry because I feel like the headpiece/belt have enough "bling" already.

Your dress is gorgeous! I agree with other posters to keep your jewelry simple. I think either rose gold or reg gold would work!

I've actually had great luck selling my other dresses. And I originally wanted that exact blush dress from Davids Bridal with the bow, but it was discontinued by the time I was ready to buy

You can't really tell but my dress is a soft blush and my headpiece and necklace are rose gold...buuuut I think I will be going for a rose gold statement necklace. My engagement ring is 18k rose gold as well. Your dress is very pretty too!! Blush is such a beautiful color!!

That dress is soooo pretty! My dress is blush as well. I'm planning on accessorizing with this belt, a matching hair piece, rose gold drop earrings. My ering is rose gold as well. I'll probably go without a necklace and some sparkly flats.

@Sarah- ivory? I'll probably wear an ivory veil so I think an ivory shirt would coordinate nicely.

My dress color is called Moscato but I think its sort of in the blush family. I'm just going to wear the drop earrings pictured to keep it simple and not over-done. The earrings are opal and match the belt

@FSTL thank you, I love yours too! The tops look similar with the cut and the texture. And that belt is really pretty. What does the bottom look like?

It's more of a fuller a line! I originally wanted a ball gown but they weren't as flattering on me. :-) I love the skirt on yours!
