My FH and I were taking a trip to Los Angeles and every one convinced me it was happening there...well it didn’t and I was devastated. A few weeks later he asked if I could take off the Friday after the 4th of July so I said sure...little did I know he was secretly planning a trip. All I knew was we were flying and we were going to be gone for 4 days. I found out once we got to the second airport (we had a layover) we were going to Nashville which I’ve been dying to go there for months! The next day was the 4th of July and Nashville has a huge fireworks show while the symphony plays...it was amazing. He asked me if I wanted to take a pic so I said sure and a lady next to us said “do you want me to take your picture?” We said sure so when she went to take the picture he asked me to marry him! Not much of a story behind the ring...I picked it out back in November 🤪

He surprised me❤He had my best friends..my Maid and Matron of Honors tell me we were having a girls day out...but when we arrived to the venue,it was a suprise engagement lunch with his parents, my mom his children and my besties! I was shocked he and my friends kept this secret for months. it was beautiful...I will NEVER FORGET IT💓💓

I picked out my ring and my FH kept teasing me about when he was going to propose. He ended up doing it while we were being lazy at home so that I would have no idea he was about to do it. He attached the ring to our puppies collar which was perfect. He originally had this big public proposal planned which I accidentally ruined. I’m so happy it was just us in our home!

We had just started a D&D campaign that night with a couple of friends online. I was playing a bard and my fiancé was DMing. So, my bard had just finished performing for the tavern and we got into a fight with some enemies. The guard was called in to assist because it was a lot of enemies (I had forgotten about the guards). So, my fiancé has a guard approach me as he’s dying and ask me to marry him. Before he could say anything first I said I curb stomped him. Then he asked if I would marry him and that was when I realized what was happening. I tried to ask him to reverse my curb stomp, but he said he wouldn’t. I regret killing the poor npc lol. But it was special and we shared it with a few of or close friends.

My FH woke up one day and decided that was the day. He called both of sets of my parents, picked the ring while FaceTiming my sister for help, planned a night with all of our friends and popped the question when I walked in the door from work. Our friends showed up 30 mins later and we took a limo to the casino and drank way too much champagne. It was the perfect night and felt like our engagement party 🎉

We planned family photos and he did it during the photoshoot. it was a ring that I loved and he ended up choosing this one over a few others I tried on.

View Quoted Comment Funny enough yes! We are going for s fantasy themed wedding. We told the wedding party to dress in cosplay and while I have a normal wedding dress, I’m going to have a staff by my side when I walk down the aisle instead of a bouquet. I’m considering for the bridesmaids bouquet and the groomsmen things that instead of a traditional flower we buy a bunch of fake flowers and put dice in them. We’re also having two
miniature figures representing my fiancé and I on our cake fighting a dragon. We are even trying to get the baker to make it look like a dragon tail is wrapping up around the tiers of our cake. Then we have a friend/co-worker designing the centerpiece for the main table. I believe a dragon head of some sort. I kind of have forgotten. And for the rest of the tables my moms doing the centerpieces with a bowl of dice and two miniatures fighting a enemy. Our favors are “fairy dust”. These are just a few of the big ideas! I love my ring! Funny enough my fiance forgot to have it sized so for the first week I wore it on my pinky 😂😂.

He proposed while we were on vacation in Belize! Belize has been on my bucket list foreverrr

View Quoted Comment Thank you! He is a LEO and rides a motorcycle for escorts and parades so his original plan was to end the parade by proposing to me. He even had the drone team set to fly over us and get a video of it all. I ruined him to asking that he does not do it in public lol😂

We were on our first cruise during one of the entertainment shows I wanted us to participate because it was a show about love and marriage and they were picking couples out the crowd (unbeknown to me, he set it up to be picked anyway) and proposed in front of everyone including our friends and family that came too

He took me on an extravagant cruise and proposed in our own kitchen the day we
got back over a wonderful steak and wine dinner for our 8 year anniversary!!!
