Black Tablecloths-autumn Wedding

What other sorts of decor are you planning on using?

We are!! Black tablecloths, ivory napkins, ivory taper candles, silver accents and submerged in tall water vases - burgundy flowers. (Playing on our fire and water signs) We have touches of blush and deep dark greenery throughout too. Some of the greenery they are painting black to tie it all in... I can’t wait! 13 more days!! Oh, our table is the opposite: ivory tablecloth, black napkin, black taper candles, and my FWs cascading bouquet and my nosegay 🖤

If you’re worried black will be halloweenish, maybe consider a navy, dark green, burgundy, or gold. All could play well with Fall colors.

View Quoted Comment My FW is wearing a black gown and I’m wearing an ivory gown 👰🏼🖤👰🏼 I think playing off of the colors of our gowns enhances the look and feel of the wedding... think about how timeless a white wedding is with a bride wearing white? It’s like that but much more modern! I’m stoked!! You should go for the black table clothes to break up all the white in the venue - we did the same thing. If you’re not going for a modern look you could have the men in slate gray or a dark gray to soften it a bit. I can’t wait to hear what you choose!
