Black Friday & Wedding Dress Shopping?

I was just wondering if any of you guys went dress shopping on Black Friday? Friday is the only day I have off until Christmas and unfortunately the bridal salon I am wanting to go to isn't taking appointments due to Black Friday. Has anyone else done this? Was it chaotic?

I would get reallly stressed out if that's the case.... Black Friday everywhere is a nightmare

Honestly that sounds awful. I doubt you'll get any individual attention from consultants. It's not as easy as just trying on a pair of jeans. Even David's Bridal on a Saturday was overwhelming and not nearly as nice as going to a more private bridal salon.

I'm going on Black Friday since I'm off, but it's a salon that requires appointments, so it shouldn't be any more crowded than any other day.

I tried on a dress the Wednesday before black Friday (they had a sale for the whole week), I slept on it, and had a small appointment just to make my decision on BF. It was definitely busy in the store, but they only took appointments making it a little less chaotic. I got a good deal with 15% off my dress and 20% off my accessories. So it can be worth it!
