What do you think of bridesmaids in all black? Do you love the formal and elegant look, or are you someone who only wears black to funerals? (I grew up in New Jersey where we wear black to everything )

We had black BM dresses for my friend's wedding a few years ago. I thought they looked elegant, and it's still my favorite dress I've ever had to wear for a wedding (you know, until my own).

I think it really depends on the type of wedding and the theme. I do not like them in the first photo, but I love them in the second. I think its better for a more formal wedding, when the dress is long and the bouquets are more traditional.

I love the formal look. I too grew up in Jersey & Black was everything 😘. For me though id add a dash of color.

I think black can really only be pulled off in formal settings. Something about the long black dress and a really pretty bouquet is so elegant. The shorter dresses just kind of look like the BMs all scattered to get a dress. Not so much my style.
