Birthday Wedding

Margan, on November 4, 2019 at 10:39 PM Posted in Planning 0 4
Has anyone gotten married on their birthday? The venue I’m most in love with only has my bday as a Saturday option. I don’t mind for the day of the wedding (and frankly it would make for the best bday), but for years to come having my birthday and anniversary on the same days seems less than ideal. Thoughts? One one hand my future husband would never forget my bday but on the other, I do like acknowledging birthdays and anniversaries so it makes for one less celebration a year.

I got married on my 56th birthday. The good news is, I can never forget my anniversary.

I'm getting married 5 days after my birthday and I'm sure this will turn into 1 celebration for the rest of my life hahaha. But I don't mind. It's also our anniversary of dating so it worked out that it was on a saturday.

Your birthday will be more special for the rest of your life! Plus what better way to celebrate your birthday than all your favorite people in one room! You could always celebrate your dating or engagement anniversary if they are on a different day than your wedding anniversary too so you don;t miss out on any celebrations! Smiley smile

Hey Margan! Welcome to the WeddingWire community!

When it comes down to it, you are the only person that needs to be okay with celebrating yoru anniversary and your birthday on the same day. It could lead to being a huge celebration for you and your FS in the coming years. It's totally understandable if you would like to have them celebrated on different days.

You will need to think about what is most important to you, having the venue that you want or celebrating your anniversary on your birthday every year.
