Birth control before the wedding

Jazmin, on March 12, 2019 at 9:22 PM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 21

I've been researching for a couple of months now on which birth control to use and I finally decided to get the IUD. I went today and it was quick and little uncomfortable, I'm not going to lie. Let's see how it develops within the next days.

Are you trying a new birth control treatment before the wedding?

What IUD did you get?? I have paragard. And yes it's normal when they first put it. Horrible cramping. But it's the best birth control I've been on

I've been on birth control pills for 4 years and it's worked great for me! I hope the IUD is a good choice for you. I know everyone is different when it comes to birth control. I hope your discomfort passes quickly!

I was on the pill for a while and it gave me anxiety!! So I switched to the IUD (tried Kyleena but switched to Mirena). It's super recent so I can't say much about it but so far so good!! Only occasional random cramping! I hope it works for you as it's so care-free and then you don't need to remember to switch or take a pill or anything for a while so you can focus on your new hubby and new life and enjoy the big day without that "did I take my pill" thought!

I was on the pill several years ago and it gave me a cyst in my breast. I got the the mirena iud and have been on it for over a year. I’ve had no issues. After it expires or as soon as we want to try for kids (whichever comes first), I’m done with bc forever (I hope).

Yeah. I love it. I have it checked by my doctor every once and while just so I don't constantly worry about it. Other birth controls got rid if my periods completely but I do not have that issue with paragard.

Hahaha Yes. I had only used condoms before, but since our wedding is coming and we don't want to have kids right away we thought it was a good idea to start using another alternative. I hope it works for us!

Heya! It lasts up to five years. FYI: Three of my friends say they haven’t had a period since being on it. Nothing has changed for me, My cycles are still coming and they are regular.

I’m going to try to practice my Spanish. Please forgive me for the mistakes lol. En tu país, hay mal estigma con el método anticonceptivo porque es una país católico?

I started the arm implant few months ago. Biggest complaint is that things aren't quite as regular as the pill but I love lot having to think about birth control at all, and it still helps A LOT with cramps

I got Skyla in 2016! It’s coming out at the end of this month since it only lasts 3 years. The cramping was horrible at first and even when I would have my “period” it still cramped but I had little to no bleeding. When I go in I am going to inquire about other options.
